Sorry for the extended downtime, but everything that could go wrong went wrong with the new server but finally it is all up and running and optimized to make the forum run a lot efficiently and faster.

Artist of the week.

Each week we would like to put the spotlight on an Artist from the community. The idea of “Artist of the Week”  is to get a bit of background on the artist, including inspirations etc and première an exclusive track on the blog for a week.
If you would like to be featured on our “Artist of the Week” feature, please go to the contact form and select Artist of the week. In the message, please include a link to your new and exclusive track. We will then contact you back with some questions.

Music Glossary (Wiki)

This isn’t confirmed yet, but we are currently discussing having a music glossary onsite. It’s been a floating idea for a while but we would like your thoughts on it, before we proceed.  The idea is to detail commonly used terminology that can be updated in the same fashion as wikipedia. Any idea / thoughts on this?

Hi guys,

The forums will be down from late on Friday for up to 24hrs as I will be switching us to a new server. The current host that I use for our dedicated server is just not holding up and is causing numerous hours of downtime a month and this is just not acceptable. I will send out a mass PM to let everyone know when the site is back up.

Sound Unsound Wadio was formed to give you the listener back control. How many times have you listened to the radio and thought “I could do better than that fool!!!” and wished you could take control and show the DJ how it should be done? Sound Unsound Wadio is your opportunity to do so!

We offer all our members the opportunity to host their own wadio show. You choose the genre and the tracks.

Sound Unsound Wadio runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and when a live DJ is not playing, it plays only tracks from members of Sound Unsound. If you have created any tracks that you would like to be added to the Sound Unsound Wadio’s daily Playlist, please PM Ross with the URLs to the tracks.

You can tune in to Sound Unsound Wadio from any page on Sound Unsound, just look for the red Sound Unsound Wadio sign and then select you preferred media player.

We are proud to announce that on Saturday 23rd August 2008 at 09:30 PM (GMT), we are premièring our new fully licensed Wadio (Web Radio) Station.

Kicking us off on the 23rd at 09:30 PM (GMT), Guvnor will be doing a 4hr set of only the best Electro and House tracks.

If you would like to host a show on Sound Unsound Wadio, please drop either Ross or Guvnor a PM and they will sort you out. No specialist equipment is required to host a radio show as there is freeware software available that allows you to host Wadio shows.

Welcome back

As you know, we have had a few problems over the past fortnight, but everything is now sorted and we are back in action.

We have merged Sound Unsound Network into Sound Unsound, so that we have one forum to monitor and we feel that having both original artists and DJ’s / Producers on one forum will benefit everyone.

Your accounts have all been moved over to this site, so if you were a member of SUSN, you will not need to re-register.
