Default How to create Video Mashups

I need help guys.

I'm running Windows Vista and i'm after some software to use to create video mashups.
I was using Adobe Premiere CS3 but after a recent re-install of vista it is no longer recognising video file formats.

Can anyone help?

I highly recommend Sony Vegas Pro 8. I've been using Vegas since Vegas 6 and it just gets better and better. I wouldn't recommend paying out for the full program until you have tested it. Either download the demo or pick up one of their basic suites.

At least my mac has a bottle-opener.

Dave - Premiere CS3 is available on the Mac

Also you could use Parallels to run Windows on your Mac to use Windows software on your Mac (or you could just dual boot your Mac, so on boot up you get the option to boot into either OSX or Windows).

Also CrossOver claims to work with Vegas, but it is not officially supported by them.

As an alternative to using Windows software on your Mac, you could look into Final Cut Pro. I've heard nothing but good things about it.
